At Camp Moonlight, we witnessed something truly magical: a chance for families raising children with physical disabilities to experience joy, connection, and the freedom to just be themselves. What started as a dream became a powerful reality when families from across Canada and the United States gathered together for an unforgettable two-day retreat filled with laughter, outdoor adventure, and compassionate care- all at no cost to them. 

We know how hard these journeys can be. Many families spend their days navigating medical appointments, accessibility challenges, and feelings of isolation, with very few places where they can truly relax, recharge, and share unconditional community. Camp Moonlight changed that, if only for a brief moment, by offering a space where children with disabilities and their entire families could feel seen, included, and celebrated. 

But this was just the beginning. We Love Joy Foundation is raising funds to make Camp Moonlight an ongoing tradition -a retreat families can look forward to year after year.
